Just pleased others agree that it’s flipped – I suppose my original thread’s title was a bit vague:p
That’s right Consul, you are obviously not a journo, you have to write the eye-catching headline but you did get 162 views against 250 so far on this thread!:)
Yes.
O.K. Glad ‘WE’ discovered it before any other Forum did, now we have to keep it quiet!;)
Page 74 of the same issue. 🙂

O.K. confirmed ONE of them is wrong, is it the cover?
Don’t agree with you, what do you base your observations on?
Habsheim was while ago, Newforest! 😀

Ah, so computers are now foolproof?:diablo:
Are you serious? Do you know what a mockup is ? Is that a fake aircraft ? Not real construction materials? Not real engines ? Not real Landing gear? . A mockup is what we see of the F-35 going around , basically made of well to be crude cardboard and plastic.
Calm down mind your blood pressure, no, not really serious, hence the 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 :diablo:
Pretty much the post I was going to post and then didn’t. The human error and all that, maybe suggest that a computer wouldn’t make a mistake, but then they do don’t they! (Airbus)
Don’t be hard on Steve, I am sure he will admit to making mistakes, like all of us!:D
This would presumably be the Triumph 12 only made in the years 1939-40 and had a 1496cc 4 cylinder engine, not to be confused with the Triumph 12/50 Herald, 1963-67. Sadly your car is no more as confirmed by DVLC.

That is a very good thread and photo and should give optimism to a possible restoration in the future if the right connection can be made. 😉
Well, the HQ is in Coventry but are they made there? They certainly have a world wide presence now.

“From his location”…sheesh, get off your high horse. You’d think, sometimes, that people on the Eastern side of the pond had some sort of serious superiority complex.
Having recently moved from the West (California) to the East, Europe, I know a little of which I speak. This is not really the thread for this discussion, but I would only say that there is no comparison in the quality of life. We work to live, not live to work.;)

From his location, I think he is suggesting that this is an everyday occurrence, of no small consequence. The fact that it happened to professional people, relaxing on holiday and not far from their responsiblities is probably not something that will be appreciated on the other side of the pond.
