You sir have just wasted some of my time and effort, not amusing when moving around is a struggle due to disability. Here I was trying to help out only to find it was a stupid prank and a thoughtless one at that.

Others may be more reluctant to answer questions such as this in future to the detriment of the forum.

    Think before you post.

This is probably the opinion of everybody from Hampshire. Time would have been better spent in bed. There is only one date for this post in the year.:p

What happened to the Rapide? Brake failure?

“Best thing that could have happened to the Talbot shame it took damaging a good aircraft to achieve it”

I think Mr. Currill is suggesting the Sunbeam committed suicide. NF875, c/n 6746 now a blue G-AGTM, ex OD-ABP and JY-ACL.

Hi does any one know some good places for student qjobs. Not graduates just part time work etc.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong section

    😛

Well, welcome to the Forum, if you can contribute. It would be wiser to contribute before asking for something. By ‘advertising’ in G.A. one would expect you to be looking for job cleaning planes, otherwise your ‘request’ should be in General Discussion.

Welcome to the Forum. It is unfortunate that though many people may be interested in the book, the postage costs from downunder, assuming this is where the item is mailed from, are usually prohibitive. Also you may have crossed the Forum’s clear cut rules on advertising.

Agree with Dazza, HAL HF-24 Marut, 147 built, not very successful, out of service 1985.

Seems odd a C-17 would do that much damage. I’d argue that the runway probaly wasn’t built well to begin with.
It’s Probably the way for the city to get the feds to pay for runway resurfacing (not that they don’t anyway).

Don’t forget the armour protected vehicles the C-17 was probably carrying but yes, any excuse for a federal handout.

Edit. The thread title is not 100% correct as the airport, KLRU, has two other operational runways.

I’d agree to that, CRASH is a five letter word that put dread and a shudder through me everytime i see it.

Totally agree with the date dilemma. ‘Stockport crash’ would be fairly self explanatory but could also be ambiguous. Think TWICE before you title a thread!:p
