When in Las Vagas in Feb there were plenty of ‘Janet??’ airways 737’s around – ie the white ones with a red stripe – used to transport staff to Area 51 I believe?
Janet is the radio call sign for the ‘airline’. It might stand for Joint Air Network for Employee Transportation or ‘just Another Non-Existent Terminal!’ They operate six 737’s and some smaller turboprops.
They’re a regional jet…..i should imagine they’ll be used for exactly that
The range of the 195 is between 2600 and 3300 km. depending on specifications. They were bought as regional airliners to fly to eleven countries in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. I believe four are purchased and three leased from GE Capital Aviation.
