Words fail me,
Me too! Through two security checks without a boarding pass? Don’t give BAA any more ammunition for delays 😀
Three more bodies found.
There were three passengers missing after the plane crashed and they may have been found. 🙁
Throwing my penny into the ring, Farnborough and Calshot are in the running! 😉
Well, thanks Albert and Brian, don’t know why it took as long as nine minutes to get answers! The answers are always out there. 🙂
Not so, am monitoring the Q6 situation closely and hope for a visit soon.
Watch this space – I’m on it.

Still watching the space, not much happening! 😀 Have you any news on the condition of the engines, Gipsy Six’s? Assume there wouldn’t be any problem overhauling them or getting replacements. My impression of the project is that it is a part time project with no immediate goal in sight.
They fly!
Thanks, short to the point! So a VC-10 could take four (?) fighters at a time and if one went tech. the pilot would bail or divert? I remember seeing a VC-10 at Halifax, Nova Scotia last year which might have been connected with this exercise or possibly a Canadian exercise.
If you turn up this morning with a 15kg check in bag and 10kg of hand luggage (the max permitted) I hope excess baggage charges won’t be levied.
You think Ryanair is going to give up this golden opportunity? 😀 Latest news, Lufthansa and Belgian flights are cancelled until this afternoon and the situation regarding luggage checking becomes clearer.
The owner’s address is recorded as Barry Greenwood, Ballaskeddan, Fort Island Road, Derbyhaven, Castletown, I.O.M., IM9 1T2. There was a rumour that it was for sale and a possible buyer was Rex Ford. It is still under long term rebuild as per photo taken last year.
JT 😎
Thread drift, check out this website for Catalina’s!
This will be a good start with a number of links.
Here’s one shot taken today.
CHRIS
Good enough! Looks rather lonely and desolate there. You obviously had no rain, we had it all down here! Looking forward to the ‘developments’ 😀

The original offer of a flight has been “withdrawn by the seller due to an error in the listing”, having reached £1620.00.
A new auction has been started at:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6631923676
“Spend the day at RNAS Yeovilton, with “Possible” Flight in a Swordfish or Similar Vintage AircraftNot exactly what one would have hoped for… End time for this new auction is 01-Jun-06*12:17:02 BST and bidding stands at £21.00 at the moment!
And finishing at £1270 for a ‘possible’ flight! 😉
It’s been posted here before!!
As the item was on a TV program last night, I assumed it was a newer item than it is obviously was, as highlighted by the superior posters. Anyway, I thought it was interesting and maybe newer members will think so as well.
