“A decision will be made tonight (Monday) as to whether the new AlphaOne Airline will start business on Wednesday.
A spokesman says an announcement will be made at 9am on Tuesday morning, December 12th. She would not give a reason for this further possible delay to services.
No announcement has yet been made!
Interesting what other forumites read! 😀 Back to the story, they will get what they deserve and the other passengers visited two islands in the Caribbean. 🙂

Well I guess this would be of the exported ones. VH-BRP (c/n 125) became VH-RCD later. There is another registration VH-OLD which could be the final one. I think some down under help is required! 🙂

As I expected, there were no bids for this item!
At this point I put on BBC news and have been glued to it ever since, someone seems to be suggesting a plane crash.
The possibility of a plane crash is being totally discounted now.
Witnesses are saying the plane was struck by lightning before landing and fuel in the wing exploded. The majority of passengers were schoolchildren returning from holidays.

Deja Vu. Condolences to all concerned. News update is that 103 died and there were seven survivors. The airline operate one MD-80/90 which was leased. It is 5N-BGL (ex N819US). The airline started business with a B.727 and a connection with Yugoslavian Airways. 🙁
