If my info is correct, I can’t understand why they have been re-regd. I don;t beleive the a/c broken up at Prestwick were.

Auto Direct bought twenty aircraft and spares for $10m. Auto Direct are a major supplier of spare parts for jetliners as are European Aviation who started business in 1989 with a spares holding for BAC 1-11 aircraft. The possible scenario could be that E.A. didn’t want 20 aircraft and have persuaded A.D. to sell them one or two saving A.D. ferry costs? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Incidentally, the two aircraft in question were registered 2nd December!

I was informed that these two particular a/c were purchased by European Aviation for spares. Is this not so now?

Would not contradict you on that point, you are probably more correct and up to date than I am! ๐Ÿ™‚

Why on earth were they permitted to land in such atrocious conditions

You are following the thoughts of the majority of uninformed journo’s. ๐Ÿ˜€

and don’t forget, witnesses said the nosewheel collapsed on landing.

And of course that means that they were unequivocally involved in these “extraordinary renditions” or whatever, right? Please. This is just the media spinning some numebrs to make them mean what they want them to mean.

So maybe the pen is mightier than the sword! Nobody said every flight was a ‘torture’ flight. I don’t think the middle letter of CIA stand for innocence. Ask the German citizen kidnapped and take to Afghanistan for questioning, ask the Canadian citizen taken and given to the Syrians for questioning and there was a high profile Norwegian case I believe.

You have camera movement which is different then slow shutter speed – but can be a result of slow shutter speed. You get the same effect if you use digital or film camera. Your (the camera) moving faster then your subject matter is moving.

Shouldn’t this be on the Photographic Forum? ๐Ÿ˜€

If this is the one which was owned by Peter Lee (Gemini and P2 owner), then I might have one at home. Will check tonight and report back. From what I can remember it was white with a blue cheat line down the side.

    Martin

Thanks Martin, the registered owner is Caroline Lee and I have another contact who is going to mail a photo. The other Courier on the register, ‘BAGT was initially in a blue and white scheme. ๐Ÿ™‚
