    Somebody said a picture was underexposed, which it probably was in those challenging conditions

    You’ve gone way over the top in your reaction.

    That’s how it seems to me anyway, others may view it differently.

    Last night I received a text from my mate John in Leeds, who I must point out can fly with his eyes closed.:D He asked me the question what is the difference between a MK5 and MK9 Spitfire ? well rather then text I sent him an e-mail.;)
    about 1hour later I received another text, It read I only have a bloody beer mat to write my answer! :D:D he could have said he was doing the pub quiz.:D

    Thanx Anna and Mike….it is well worth a visit….possibly a good venue for a forum meet…I only live around the corner so you are always welcome a cup of tea!

    I can just imagine a cat-shaped outline on the fence panels…!

    I think that beats my most embarrassing moment!

    Back in 1993-ish, myself and a friend had been visiting a well-known model shop in the Midlands, and had been given some rather dodgy advice by one of the assistants, which both of us knew was largely incorrect.

    Anyway, a couple of hours later, we were stood at the bar of a local pub, and I was chatting to the barman (another keen modeller).
    I had launched into a tirade of abuse directed at the aforementioned assistant, when out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that my companion had seemingly developed a twitch.
    I looked round at my friend to see what was wrong, and spied the model shop assistant standing behind my friend….
