    I was on the Royal Review planning team in ’77 @ (lowly SAC giving out the coordinated times for the flypast πŸ™‚ ) I’m sure there was a formation of Dominies after the JP formation……will have to try and find my old notes

    Remember flying with them on the Navexs on a night shift and the Varsity ranger trips to Berlin.

    Air Rum is an airline based in Amman, Jordan. It is a charter airline specialising in leasing services. It was established in 2002 by Mohammad Abu Sheikh.

    Fleet
    The Air Rum fleet consists of 5 Lockheed L-1011 Tristar aircraft (As at July 2005).

    Incidents
    On 20th September 2005, an Air Rum aircraft full of Gambian football fans heading for Lima, Peru pretended to be out of fuel so that it could land in Piura. Later that night in Piura’s stadium, Gambia played Qatar.

    The Phantom was on a live Q scramble out of Wildenrath and was returning to Wildparts and saw the Jaguar and did a bit of 1v1 and forgot he was carrying a warload of missiles and foxed the Jaguar. As a consequence of this the selection switch was safety wired to try to stop this event happening again…..
