at the moment i am doing gmcs and jeeps.i tarted the panther up for our show a few years ago just to get all the bits in one place.we have far more important vehicles to do first.there are a few running panthers whereas we have some much much rarer pieces which many people arent interested in cos they arent big gun tanks.we have a converted sexton, extremely rare and used in an important op,a aec command vehicle, only one left.our invader cockpit was sold on too as was the steen skybolt.our three flak 38ts are more likely to get done before anything else german.

thats good to hear.ive been in the manston one soon after she was brought onto the fire dump.she still had power in her batteries but now she is dead.soon she will suffer some skin damage to assist crews in evac practice.two harriers which i saw in good condition now have been cut squashed rammed by a jcb and the jag has had its engines pulled and the tornado has gone but the cockpit was saved.it is quite sad to see them sitting waiting for the end.

    hi,
just to set the record straight.ralph did no work on the airframe whatso ever.i did.i stripped and repaired the mid fuselage section prior to repainting and overhauling various items for it.we overhauled and repainted the rear tail section as well.the aircraft now resides in france after a deal and should be back in the air in about five years time.i stayed with the plane up till its move to norfolk and helped to pack her for the trip.we saved her from the scrapyard and that really mattered to us.we have saved so many things fom the cutting torch including the b26k nose that was sold on.it was going to be melted down by courtesy if we couldnt get it in the container.various names were found scribed into the fuselage mid section when i stripped her and some addresses tie in with her previous owners.
