Ant.H – As a guide to what exactly ? Not sure what you mean – the Canadian Lanc operates to Canadian rules which are not recognised in the UK so the UK Lancs have to abide by UK rules………. ( as highlighted by Roobarb “would have a more lenient attitude from the CAA when they don’t even have the approved seats fitted and would require a structural fitment modification to be stress approved, design approved and the seats and their materials and harness/lapstrap to be of an approved design and material specification”
Absolutely superb article. Having grown up around these people in the 80s and 90s, following their every move around the airshow circuit and myself being first an engineer and then a pilot, John was / is someone who I have always aspired to. Would love to buy the guy a beer and have a chat sometime.
Is the Super Cub remote control ?
OK cool so if i am offered a ride in the back – it needs to be a TF-51 ? otherwise its a seat and no controls/ instruments ?
What is the quickest way to tell ( visually ) the difference between a TF-51 and a P-51 ? or is there any ?

Love that desert paint scheme – where does black 9 usually live then ?
Jack Windsors post is an interesting comparison , I guess at Edinburgh ( landside) you are in apublic place ( according to the earlier video = no restrictions), Legends could actually be argued as being on private property ? such as some of Horse events , Motor racing Circuits – these are not public places so should be more restrictive than peering through the security fence at at a large airfield , however imagine the uproar if your Legends ticket said ” no photography ” ?
alternatively get the tail down and get on the brakes !!
Nosed over at Little Gransden in Aug 2003 – is that what you read ?
PR version ( no guns) cockpit glass not re-inforced, some blood on the tail fin , must be a MK16 with retro fitted 3 blade prop……
