    Get your self near a TV Moggy as although Top Gear has started no Spitfires as yet.

    Try emailing them again.

    Approx 12-24 months ago I was looking for a second set and sent them an email on the off chance that they may have some. I had a first reply which said no followed by another reply a few days later saying that they did indeed have a few left.

    I have got a set at home, Im sorry but I wouldnt want to sell them but you do realise that its a very very basic set of decals image and quality wise?

    ONly had time to watch one before I go out with the Mrs and I chose Mark Hanna second flight in PL965.

    THAT is what Legends misses in my eyes. A Spitfire been displayed with a certain style.

    Airfix didn’t do a Victor did they? I thought it was Matchbox that produced the Victor and when they went out of business the moulds went on to Revell?

    Meteor Flight @ Yatesbury?

    They have a spare T.7 and also a large spares holding. Picture of the Meteor used on the ebay ad is the one they are getting flying. So…………..

    Only 105 in the UK IIRC, every time I see it a twinge of sadness gets me, would make an outstanding static but is there enough money in the pot for this mamoth task?.

    As long as its structured Id vote for the idea.

    Maybe do what the international cockpit club does on their www.

    A wants section and a for sale section both having the ability of multiple threads to be ran within the heading. That way its not so messy and peoples wants lists dont get lost amongst other peoples lists.

    But saying that Ive posted a few threads with wants lists in the past and they have always been well received and never pulled by the mods so……………………its not like we cant post when we individually want to.

    Unlike the ME-109, I’ve never heard of the outward retractable U/C being a serious problem on Spits, is that true?
    And before anyone says, I know it was a problem on Seafires!

    Maybe not but if you look at a Spit taking off or landing compared to say a Hurricane or a Mustang the latter two types certainly look a lot easier and less dare I say skittish.

    Ive not flown any of these types apart from on flight sims so maybe Im not qualified to speak. :diablo:
