Peacekeeping? Hmmmmmm….. Don’t think I will go down that road again.

I can’t help thinking that all the money that has been expended in the pursuit of oil in Iraq would have been better spent on seeking out an alternative energy source from fossil fuels. Anyone know how much the bill is so far?

Don’t worry it will sort itself out I can assure you. If it gets too bad you could move too poland because then there would be plenty of room over there. We need too welcome different people’s into the U.K. because it broaden’s our experience of other cultures. Its even better that we inter marry and enjoy each others company and learn too live together. Britain has been living in isolation for too long, its time we became European and less isolationalist. Any Psychologist will tell that we are a social creature, and living alone is not good for you . The British people are not as loving too each other as some other cultures are, we may become a lot happier if we show our selves too others more emotionally.Touching each other more is a step in the right direction…. 🙂

I think a lot of the anti American comments are more directed towards their policies overseas. I don’t have a problem with the American people and have lived over there but I do have a bit of a problem with their “we are the most powerful nation in the world and are going to prove it” attitude. I also have a problem with George Bush and I don’t think I’m on my own there.

Actually, I do remember some paltroon in the 1970s (or maybe early ’80s) trying to get Tom And Jerry banned from British TV because it was so “violent”.

It may even have been Mary Whitehouse or one of her loathsome curtain-twitching acolytes.

What about Road Runner, that was very violent. Especially the piano episode where cyote plays the tune wrong , trying to get Roadrunner too play the right Tune in the hope of blowing him up. At least evil Cyote always failed, which showed that good will always triumph over evil. Little Children watching that series always wanted cyote too win…. :diablo:

I agree— Whilst watching the posts and hearing anti-American rhetoric, it seems clear to me that my neighbor to the South of the great nation of Canada, has done so much for so many, yet has been repeatedly criticised and booted about by those living free under a flag those brave Yanks helped keep flying in London.
