Desalinization Plants may work if their cost effective.

Because our World today is a Global Economy, it would be impossible too close off Borders. Sadly we are no longer the Island we once were. It will be interesting too see in the coming years if our Government has no choice but too pull up the drawbridge, before we sink under the weight of mass migration….

Dr Strangelove.

In my last year at school, back in the 60’s, as an end of term treat we were shown a Film called Dr Strangelove. At the time this film scared me because it presented a situation which could lead too all out nuclear War. 😮

I think we should carry on as we are.All that wooly cap thinking , is a distraction from the real problems of the World.
I heard today that there will be a worldwide shortage of water which will cause serious problems for developing Countries. Global warming is not, I repeat not the cause of water shortage.There’s simply not enough water too replace the huge amounts wasted in farming and industrial uses.
Flooding caused by Global warming will not ease the shortage.
Agreed, Drought may be caused by Global warming, however even with a non drought situation, water shortage would still be a problem.
The world’s expanding population will put added burden on the shortage, which will result in mass migration too western Countries.

What a scary thought!!!

I think she has gotten the message, (God I hope so)…she just emailed me telling me what a Bleeping Bleeper I am and how she will never see me again (yay :p ) and how I am just a normal bloke who thinks of himself…

For a while I was expecting to come home from work to find my cat dead!!!

Geez some women…(before I get it in the neck for that, yes men can be just as bad)

Hey come on you guys , we in Britain share a common understanding with you, . after all we do live in the free thinking world, don’t we. If you go to memorable airshows you will see I have spent some considerable time visiting American Air Bases in G.B. and enjoyed every moment. Although the experiences by some people of some Americans ( not all) have proved to be bizarre. Nobody is perfect.
I think we were a lot happier during the cold war, now the world is changing and once again in man’s history a new challenge presents itself. I think this one is going to be the hardest too resolve.
We would like too hear some more comments from U.S.A. and Canada on this thread. 🙂
