Couple more from the show….

Hi semae and –o-o-O-o-o–,….thanks for the info on the 5th Hurricane and it wasnt you semae who made the remark it was svas_volunteer asking me what I was doing on the other side.So no offence taken but thanks anyway for being courteous….Cheers….JB;):)
Hi Skybert….Your probably right about the 5 being present as I have,nt acutally checked that fact. The spifire may have stole the glory as being the only fighter Britian had during WW2 as the press even then seemed to have portrayed this along with films but we know the “Hurricane” accounted for 60% of shooting enemy aircraft down and bore the brunt till the new kid on the block came on the scene.
Its a shame to think that the spit is remembered more for its looks while its older brother may have been uglier in view it remains for me the old plodder that gave the spitfire its glory.:rolleyes:B.o.B.s hurricane taken at Norwich last year.
Thanks semae it was nice to get to get a good comment from yourself as your work is pretty top notch itself and you never know if I dont have any work at the weekend and dont get turned away from an over capacity crowd I might get myself in there to get some close ups as nice as yours.:)
Cheers mike and svas volunteer….I work in the fields most displays,:) so guess I,m lucky “eh”.yes it was a good show and as I said before the spitfire routine where it seemed two sets,8 each set, of spitfires flying figure of eights opposing each other was a spectacle inits:)own right.
Hi Keith….Saw the weird little flying boat passing over my house that day of the Eye show and could’nt get my camera in time to catch it and for some time thought nobody else did, well done.
You should play poker as you always pull out your best photos till the last moment,cheers.:)
yes AVI it was special and almost like being present in a dog fight with all the excitement and feeling that it involves without coming to any harm.As the whole routine of the spitfires unfolded it was hard not to be drawn into there well rehearsed flying world and just watch like a thief of time had just taken 20 minutes away like a hypnotist.Merlin magic.:)
Thanks to both of you and glad you liked the hurri one.:)
Agree with the last post.:)
Nice set Anna and as I did’nt get the F16 your ones get my top draw vote.:)
“So many” good shots “brilliant”.:)
Seen this near to where I work.
Seen this near to where I work.
Thanks….Keith and Interflug62M for looking and liking what you see.Yes you are right about the variety even though its a small airport there is always a picture about the area.
They did a bit of weaving on the ground,”the reds that is” and I was unfortunate to be blocked by the perry fence to get a good shot,as if I’d been 130 degrees south behind them I would have caught some interesting passes.:)cheers…JB
Congratulations mate nice photo.I,d like to put one up but cant be doing with all there hissy fits and red tape.:)
