    Just found this on eBay and it took me back to the early days of the Squadron North Weald, all the flight crews had these on their overalls and jackets.

    American patch, I thought this was designed by Gary Numans girlfriend Tracie at the time?

    How time flies, this must be from late 80s?

    I first saw that patch in 88 when the old man came home with it but it was put out in march 89 the squadron opened

    Could that crane be mounted on top of a telescopic hangar looking at the hight of the structure it is on now it looks to be about 3 m if it could be lifted so a hangar for a wildcat could be fitted that it job done best of both worlds
