FlyPast then!

Spit. Any mark. Poetry in motion, beauty of form.
Lanc for its historical provenance and engine music.
Shack for that growl and atmosphere.” Rolls Royce engines and leather seats” as one Shack jock once said.
DC3 as historical benchmark.
Gipsy Moth for open air fun.
Canon do make very good compacts. Cant speak for the one youre looking at but I bought a 650 is off ebay recently. Saved a considerable amount, even with tax and its a really good camera. I quite often take it out and about instead of my Nikon D70-the quality of the images is comparable.
Beautiful!

These aircraft are of the Hawker bi-plane variety. Not a rotor blade in sight. At least, not when I looked! Oh…and as far as I know, the Russians never used the BSA type spade grip with its Dunlop gripping and gun triggers. 😉
Hmmmm.
I wonder how much my BSA spade grip with gun triggers in excellent condition is worth then?!
So sad to see the old geezer silenced and thousands of miles away from home, but probably stands a better chance of long term survival out there in the dry heat.

These two Shackleton wrecks are long gone. The second one is WB857, which took part in the Christmas Island operation.
I disagree – it looks like it is coming into land
Like all the Spits sitting on the ground doing nothing.
Put the wheels up and it looks like its horsing through the sky-like a Spit should be.
Cant help thinking it would look better with the wheels up.
