Saw another report on TV today about G-CONV, which now adorns a garden centre in Lanarkshire. Apparently its a “jet”- the second time I’ve seen it described as such.

Interesting story in the BBMF brochure for this year on the real “Phantom of the Ruhr”-was an “old” Lanc after 18 months of service, and here we are in 2007, with 474 looking brand new, thanks to the hard work and dedication of all the unsung heroes quietly beavering away behind the scenes.
