All this stuff makes me wonder if we need the GD Forum.
Might it not be better to close it altogether?
The task for the mods then becomes simpler. If it isn’t on topic in the main fora – delete it.
It would be a shame not to be able to debate events other than directly aviation-related ones with the like-minded people we meet here, but it might have to come to that in my opinion.

I dont post very often on this forum, so feel I dont have much of a right to moan about what it has become, but what I am very much aware of is the incredible amount of bitching that goes on here, and I wonder how many other people are put off posting as a direct result of it. Things seem so much more welcoming over on Historic, and I wouldnt miss GD if it disappeared.
