    Does anyone know what Mr. Weeks’ plans are for the Lanc and what sort of condition its parts are in?

    Isn’t that the 7 8ths scale thing that appears at the East Fortune air displays?
    Don’t remember the Swordfish at Strathallan being on display.

    PS – I know the collection had a few Spitfires there (those already mentioned) but did they ever have one on display? I think it might have been there that I sat in one – either that or East Fortune :confused:

    Think it must have been East Fortune.
    I was lucky enough to sit in it as well.
    As far as I remember, Strathallan never had a Spit out on display.

    It’s an ex-collection. It has ceased to be.
    Sold off in the early 80’s.
    Great pity. Location didnt help matters. As somebody else said earlier, it gave rise to a lot of the warbirds now on the circuit, and others now in museums.
    Shame about that Lanc though. Still upsets me to look at these photos.

    Reckon that’ s about it.
    I have got a Lanc rear turret photo and one more Lancaster shot, which Ageorge posted on my behalf before. Can’t find the original just now.
