    Zulu is one of my top films, one of Great Britians most amazing conflicts, a true story and the film gave it the respect it deserved.
    Carry On up the kyber has to be the best comic film ever made, i have watched it hundreds of times and it still makes me laugh, a true classic….
    the best film from the 70s… has to be Star Wars… i want to drive a Imperial Walker, always have done… 😀 ;).
    did someone mention Jaws… what a film that was… duuun dun…duuuun dun…dun dun..dun dun…dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun AHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRHHHHGGGGHHHH… 😀

    i am fairly lucky i think as i have Sky.. so when there is a crappie reallity show on i turn over to the documentry channels, if i can talk the missus into watching it in the other room that is.. :rolleyes:

    if the Mig-25 was really that bad then why did the Soviets build large numbers of them and assign them too different roles, interceptor, recon, defence suppression, high altitude bombing, research. the Soviets had other aircraft types available so why did they choose the Foxbat. the advantage the Mig-25 had over other mach-3 types was its simplicity. ok the SR-71 had better perfomance but it was extremly complex and expensive. how many Blackbirds was built compared too the Foxbat.
    the Soviets could build large quantites of this effective “though not perfect” design and put the fear of God in the west for quite a few years, so i think the Foxbat done the job it was designed too do very well.
    enyway apart from that, the Mig-25 Foxbat has to rate as one of the coolist, awesome looking aircraft ever built…. has enyone ever seen one taking off, i bet the sound off them 2 huge engines must be amazing.. 😉

    they supposed to be in the jungle right.. so where are all the snakes, scorpians, spiders, and the likes. my back garden is more of a jungle.. it has to be one of the most piontless tv shows ever made.
    why dont they dump the has-beens “sorry i mean celebs” in the middle of the Amazon rain forest and say ok you are on your own, see you in 2 months time.. i thought big brother was bad but IM A HAS-BEEN GET ME OUT OF THIS FAKE JUNGLE takes the biscuit..

    if you could not get a B-58 flying again, i would “with my millions” make one from scratch.. get some ex-Convair workers, then use some parts from some scrapped B-2s “best place for them”. then the yanks would have a decent bomber again… 😉 😀

    i never have compared a Mig-25 to eny other type, just like the SR-71 there is nothing else you can compare it too. the Mig-25 was a amazing answer to a requirement for a mach-3 Interceptor to Intercept US mach-3 bombers and recon aircraft, XB-70 and SR-71. i think the Soviets did a fantastic job, ok the Foxbat is coming to the end of its career, but for over 20 years 100s of these incredible machines provided a exellent interceptor, recon, defence suppresion aircraft,
    just look at its replacement… i wonder what the Mig-31 was based on ???.
    so i dont think they was that bad, was they ?? …

    i would buy a nice house with a bit of land, collect vintage and classic tractors, tour Russia and bring home a Tu-128 and a Tu-22, buy a Sea Vixen, Buccaneer, Lightning, go to America and bring home a F-105, F-106, F-89. then i would tour the world, try and visit as many countries i can, learn to fly, try to get some if not all the aircraft i own airworthy then fly them at airshows..

    i watched Zulu the other night. awesome film, makes you feel you are there. no matter how many times you watch it it is still awesome.. a proper British film that makes you respect the “bad guys” apart from hating them.

    Shrewsbury Town 0 Hereford United 0 in the FA cup first round, a tip for all outsiders… do not come to Hereford when the replay is on, AVP all over again…
    Blackburn o Manchester United 1.. a bit of a struggle but 3 points in the end. what was Wayne doing tonight, missing 2 sitters.
