wow never sen the Hermes open. It looks like they did a good job.

Thankyou!!!, i worked on the hermes first as a junior member from about 1993 until roughly 2001. We were a small team. John Smith was crew chief, there was a husband and wife team of Dennis and Maureen Coe and my Dad. My uncle also did a few years too. I was tasked with removing the aluminium panels in the cockpit and cutting new ones then covering them (not the instrument panels though). The trap nuts holding them in were a nightmare!!! That wasn’t all i did but probably the biggest part. Im not sure who finished the job after we stopped going. It was a 160 mile round trip every fortnight for about 8 years!! I used to love watching the airshows from the hermes when she was outside…
