I certainly liked the A-7 Corsairs high vis markings.

Given A2A combat is extremely rare these days (in fact kind of non-existent since 1999) and the growth of electronic means of detection, perhaps Air Forces could go back to high viz markings or interesting camo schemes.
A2A combat happens when there’s war on terror. Well if theres bigger and important war. But it’s really rare beacuse we have much advanced technology, and no other country wants to face a Raptor, Super Hornet etc. But we should focus on future threats, which is an important asset in A2A combat. So we should really depend on the future Airforce or Carrier threats for now on. I mean kind of fun doing A2A combat beacuse you get to face another country’s aircraft and he faces you. But nobody wants a AIM-9x straight at there plane, beacuse it’s a maneuverable missile.
But, it depends what is the future threats to the US. But …… Let’s just focus on the topic.

For air show purposes probably.
What i exactly was going to say.
Interesting video of the AIM-9x capabilities.
I assure you it had nothing to do with what the pilot wanted…
Well than, why did the person or pilot mounted the AIM-120s beside the AIM-9x?
Interesting why would you carry two under wing pylons with AIM-120’s instead of mounting them under the intakes instead???
Because the pilot wanted to mount those AIM-120s under the wing instead of the belly.
Got to love the Viggen climbing! Nice pic!

US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet

it’s not a F89 Scorpion as suggested by the name of the file. The left plane in the formation is an F84F (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_F-84F_Thunderstreak)
Beautiful shot. Thx for sharing!
What i was about to say
