You said “unfortunately”……that word means that you are not happy about finding out what happens in August or September.
I said “fortunately”…….that word means that you are excited and interested to hear about what happens.
See the difference?
Yes
Don’t mean to be rude, but are you and the Viper67 poster the same person? You talk very much alike. Not that there’s a problem in doing that, just found it interesting that if its true, you’ve been talking to yourself.
Certainly not

?
Unfortunately we’ll see what happens in August or September.
Don’t you mean fortunately?? (You are anxious to see what happens aren’t you?)
Yep sorry about that. And what do you mean by that?

Ask Matra?
What’s Matra?
Boeing June 4th, 2013
Late this summer a new Super Hornet will take to the skies, first in St. Louis, then at PaxRiverWhat will set this F-18F apart from the airplanes already at Pax will be the non-functional conformal fuel tanks (CFT), an Enclosed Weapons Pod (EWP) and a mock-up of an internally-mounted infrared search and track system mounted along with a slew of radar cross-section enhancement measures.
According to Boeing officials, the Super Hornet will be at Pax to test the aerodynamic qualities of those representative shapes. They noted “the CFTs won’t add any cruise drag at high subsonic speeds, but it will have a negative impact on drag at transonic speeds–but the company has done a lot of engineering work to try mitigating that.”
Moreover, they went on to say that, “at low airspeeds, sometimes overall drag with the CFTs is actually lower than a clean aircraft.” They also added, “configured with the CFTs and EWPs carrying 4 AMRAAMs, the jet performs roughly the same as a Super Hornet carrying 4 external AIM-120s.
The CFTs will add an additional 3500 lbs, or about 538 gallons, of fuel and the EWP can carry up to four AMRAAM sized weapons, six Small Diameter Bomb sized weapons and two AMRAAM sized weapons, and several air to surface weapons up to the 2000lb class.
Boeing officials say the Conformal Fuel Tanks and the Enclosed Weapons Pods can be added as post-production retrofits or to new Super Hornets.* However, should “the Navy decide to retrofit some of its existing Super Hornets with the CFTs and EWPs, a modification line could be set up at a Boeing facility, a USN depot or at a USN Air Station.”

super hornet does dominate air superiority, but in order to dominate air superiority from the super hornet is JHMCS, AIM-9x, AIM-120D, APG-79 AESA Radar, Good pilot, maneuverability and slow speed handiling. But the super dominates the Multirole arena but it’s main capable roles is air superiority and ground attack which is superior in both main roles but the super hornet in tanker mode is good too.
I already know that viper. Everybody keeps telling me this 🙂

Yup. By magic. Just as much as it can be used for ground attack (see your post #23)
Ok, but magic doesn’t exist….. “Or does it”?
(…) You forgot it’s also able to shoot down Klingon spacecraft. Ever wondered what MICA stands for ?
It’s able to destroy this spacecraft?

Well, we’ve got to have a sense of humour about something. Quite popular here in the UK, Brits tend to love words that have more than one meaning especially when it can be used as a swear/rude word. It’s a poke in the eye to political correctness, in which case I don’t mind at all. 😀
Doesn’t madder in UK, but it’s the kids that make me feel like a chump. Everybody knows that kids swear, dress up stupidly today. If this were the 90s, 80s i wouldn’t care beacuse kids were kids, they dressed up nicely but used the language properly. Sometimes the swear words came out of their mouths when they had broken stuff or were worried.
