Boeing Promotes Super Hornet at CANSEC

Hmm this is a rare photo that’s high resolution indeed. Mostly seen this photo with poor resolutions but. Anyway i love this photo. Love the Super Hornet in Air Superiority. A killer and a defender. 😀

Sorry for the attachments on the bottom. Seem to have trouble removing them. 🙁
Thank you, I did read that above. You didn’t tell me what was amazing i it… Except maybe the Sparrow leaving the rail, that is. No offence, but the pilot did what was expected of him. Very well I’m sure, but nobody would expect any less from a professional.
Your welcome Frank, now need a photo from a pilot shooting a AIM-9x or a AMRAAM from a Super Hornet. 😀
So yea Frank that’s why.
Care to elaborate about what was amazing?
Reason is that…. VMFA-232 Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing shoots an AIM-7 Sparrow missile from an F/A-18C Hornet airplane while participating in a deployment for training near Tyndall Air Force Base. The DFT prepared the squadron for future combat and contingency operations.
Great photo.
I assume missile launches can be heard from the cockpit? I remember reading an unconfirmed (?) account from an F-15 guy about the AIM-120 making a pretty loud swoosh during launch.
I assume that you can’t hear the “Swoosh” from a missile in the cockpit. Beacuse you have the helmet on.
The pilot helmet protects you from the noisy cockpit which is important not to get your ears deaf, or when firing missiles which are loud. That’s why they made it to reduce the noise, and also for oxygen.
An absolutely stunning photograph, just released by the U.S. Marine Corps, showing Capt. Christopher Prout with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing as he shoots an AIM-7 Sparrow missile from an F/A-18C Hornet near Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, on May 16, 2013..
Yea just heard that, pretty amazing what the pilot did.
🙂

EA-18G/NF500 of VAQ-141, Atsugi, Japan, 27/04/13.
Nice 🙂
Sorry – but there are many suppliers of these models and the quality is extremely good. I have a small collection and perhaps other members have large collections – they are very popular here.
Yea there pretty reliable.
I recommend these suppliers to buy diecast aircraft models from
*Hobby Master Airpower series/Airliner Series
*Corgi
*Dragon Wings Airliners/Warbirds
*Falcon Models
*Franklin Mint
*Gemini 200/250/Aces/Jets/MACS.
*Herpa Wings
*Hogan Wings
*Model Power Airliner Collection/Postage Stamp
*Unimax Forces Of Valor
*Winged Fighters
*Witty Wings Sky Guardians Series 2
*X-Plus Heavy Metal Collection
Hopefully that helped you out for buying diecast planes anytime.

Here we go again with this nonsense. 🙁
I never said that china made the J-20 because of the video games, all i said was that the J-20 looks like those fantasy Ace Combat planes like on that photo.
My name is whatever i want to spell it. You really are annoying me with this nonsense. F-18Growler was my idea, you don’t have the right to be saying that it should be E/A-18G Growler. It’s a free website, you do not just inform me to re-spell my name right.
If it were a website with a correctly speller that says change F-18Growler to E/A-18 Growler than i’d let my name be like that. By that standards i should to say Phantom II should be changed to F-4 Phantom II.
Yet your trying to be polite with me, also makes me think that your still judging me by the way that i write and talk on the forum
Steven
For now on this thread is going to be a “F/A-18 Hornet/SuperHornet Picture” thread.
It doesn’t have to be a favorite, you can choose a Hornet or Super Hornet pic that’s nice or a normal pic to post on this thread.
Steven
it’s russian, i can’t read it 🙁
Pssshhhh, how about you learn the Russian language? Just kidding my friend, probably he’s mentioning the SU-24. It reached mach 2 in the early days, then got to Mach 1.08 on it’s top speed. This thread is stupid if i should say, i already gave you all of the speed of aircrafts but your going to say weird nonsense.
Thread should be this…. Aircraft Speed Discussion Thread
