    BTW, Voyager 1 (AU 117.706) and Pioneer 10 (AU 103.783) are the furthest man made objects in space, I wonder were they will be in a billion years time?

    Not being funny but is there a place where we can read about the true story behind Twilight Tear or is it secret squirrel. Certainly doesn’t appear in the fighter-log, and there is a disturbing amount of adverse comment about the whole episode when enthusiasts like myself try to find out about it. If it is a secret just say so and why please.

    Flight Refuelling

    Apparantly in 1944 the the Air Ministry issued a contract for the conversion of 600 Lancasters and 600 Lincolns in the flight refuelling role. This was to form the Tiger Force for use against the Japanese mainland.
    We did think big back then.:D

    Has anyone heard if the TFC P-47 has come out of painting yet
