From a painting.
Is that a painting or photo ?
Hi
It’s a print, no 44/500, and it’s in the hallway so if there’s a fire I can grab
it and run.:D

Hi
This picture given to me by Chris who was on BBMF at the time, he was in the rear turret on that day, it is signed by the crew of the Lanc & Spits, the poppies are the ones that were left in the bomb bay after the flight.
Print by Robin Smith.

Perhaps that’s the point? Perhaps she’s unable to cope with life in the same way that the majority do. What we have there is just the facts of the story as seen by the bystanders. For most of us it was a totally incomprehensible thing to do. But we can’t see inside her head. Madness? Insanity? An uncontrolled chemical or hormonal imbalance? I expect we’ll never know.

Well said, now she might just get the help she obvious needs

RAF Elvington July 1943, from Bomber Airfields of WW2

Iām not sure I would describe him as a passenger!
While we are on the subject; how many combat missions have you flown, how many times were you shot down, where were you held prisoner and were you tortured?
Just asking. :diablo:
Well said, I’ll bet there’s not one person on here who would have swapped
places with him in Iraq. Why is it that ex service men who were tortured in
WW2 are all heroes on here but not him, why is that?
