Thanks for the comments guys – surprised no-one has noted the Air Canada new colours, or are they unspeakably unpopular – I rather like them – just wish I could have got a better picture…

Airline owner – Good Luck tomorrow, you do know the weather is due to take a turn for the worse – I think today was the calm before the storm, if you catch my drift…

    Some interesting looking 757s around I see…

Future Pilot – Your Comco jet (N610G) has only been photographed nine times on Airliners.net. Some of the picture captions seem to suggest it might be a US Military/Central Intelligence Agency charter jet appearing at odd locations across the world unannounced.
More likely CIA than military – they tend to use civilian registered aircraft because in some places they don’t look too out place, especially on a distant airport apron in the Middle East – looks conspicious as hell though to the trained eye.

There might be some Viscounts in Africa. Another forum you might want to try for these kind of questions are the Propliners.com discussion pages!

I think the last Viscounts flew in the 1990s flying with British World Airlines. A fine aircraft, but I never got to see one fly, fortunately I still see the stunning VC-10 regularly…

Get to see an Olympic Airways A340 at Stansted after a diversion from a bomb scare, and hope that the local newspaper are interested

Hate to be a bearer of bad news, but your local newspaper will have probably got a similar picture from the Press Association who usually have tip offs about this sort of thing – same way as there pics of the A340 departing STN today. What you need is a tip-off – something that not many people are going to know about – This is a good example, HERE not that its made me any money though.
