Who flew OFMC’S Spitfire?

I had to work this weekend so missed my first Biggin for many many years… 😡

These photo’s however are superb and nice to look at after a tough day! 🙂

Thought Flypast coverage of the up and coming event was ‘minimal’ to say the least….especially as they have featured it for the last year or so…..

Out of interest does this figure include the cost of preparing the aircraft for exhibition in the completed building and also the exhibitions that it will open with? Would make the cost a little more palatable if so.

you’d want them returned to the sky for that kind of money! 😮 Whole project for me is a farce…. 😡

Oh well never mind. I was thinking the other day not one major museum has a display about the Malta conflict. I was at Duxford on Sunday and there is nothing near the two HAC aircraft that mentions this great event which i find very suprising seeing as it fits the Battle of Britain theme so well??? :confused:

The Merlins Over Malta homepage shows two Corgi models you can buy and the Spitfire is in a deep blue scheme from Operation Calandar. Looks very nice. Squadron code U-2. 😎

Not been here long but it does seem rather odd that a guy who flies/owns an Historic aeroplane gets his posts ‘snipered’ by the so called Moderators (By the way ‘Mod’s’ go check the dictionary and look up the word….find out what it means then let us all know which dictionary you are using…..
