Unusual Russian marking
See the marking of this Russian Yak-18T:
It is unofficial insignia, and it is stylised like WW1 Russian insignia.
This Yak belongs to FLA RF (the Federation of Light Aviation of Russian Federation) – note those Russian letters on fuselage.

I was aware the Israelis had only evaluated them and i was hoping to try and find out if they ever wore Israeli markings or not.
I seem, I saw black-white profile of DHC-1 with Israeli markings in one of old issues of “Scale Aircraft Modelling” magazine.

An-24 of “IrAero” airline emergency landed
MOSCOW, August 8 (RIA Novosti)
Five people were injured when a passenger An-24 plane skidded off the runway on Monday in the city of Blagoveshchensk in Russia’s Far East, the local emergencies ministry said.
At 8:25 a.m. Moscow time (04:25 GMT) the plane, with 36 people on board, ran off the runway during landing.
Five people received injuries, three of them, including two adults and a child, were hospitalized, a spokeswoman from the local emergencies ministry said.
“Psychologists are working with the passengers,” she said.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
According to another information, there were 41 people in total on board (36 passengers and 5 crewmen) and there were 15 people injured in Blagoveshchensk.
