According to some rumours, the remains of about 40(!) Hurricanes have been found on Russian territory (I seem though, this quantity is some exaggerated… But maybe not…).
1) The link about Russian Hurricane crash site, has been found in Murmansk region (by the way: here and further – all Soviet Hurricanes were founded in Murmansk Region):

It was Hurricane IIb, board #”12″, from 3rd sqn of 78th Fighter Regiment of Soviet AF. It was shooted down in air combat on October 30, 1942. The pilot, Lt Bershansky, has jumped out with a parachute.
2) Unknown Russian Hurricane:

3) Hurricane IIb Trop, Z5252, “white 01”, from 2nd Guard Fighter Regiment of Soviet AF. Has been found in 2004. The pilot – Lt Markov. The plane was force landed after air combat on June 2, 1942. The pilot has returned in his combat unit’s placement on horse.

4) Besides, the parts, structural units and other remains of many Russian Hurricanes have been found in this area in different years until Today.
