You’re never far from our thoughts Ray.
Rest in peace and thanks for everything.

Many thanks for that, thought it had to be that one as all of the others were accounted for in other pistures and she is the only one I know to be still in the old colours.
I guess she will have departed by the time of the Dakota birthday flights in December ?
It’s a long time since I last took a photo of her, would dearly love to get one before she moves on.

Really like those night time shots.
I’m curious as to which Dak it is in the background of the shot of G-SIXC.
I’m assuming they were all taken on the same day.
Thanks Steve
I’m gutted that come the actual aniversary day I forgot all about it this year.
Have been thinking a lot about Mark and Ray recently and how much my wife and I miss them both.
Rest in peace Mark and thank you.
Amongst mainly old propliners, two flying boats of interest :-
Last Monday 28th May the Dutch Catalina PH-PBY from Lelystad and back in 1976 Short Sandringham VP-LVE from Bantry Bay in Ireland (plus Dan-Air 748 G-ASPL to get us there and back )
Steve
I guess many of us will have turned the page on our ‘Faces From The Blue’ calender this morning to have been greated by a very poignant shot of Ray sitting in MH434.
Thanks for everything Ray.
Many thanks for the update Old Fart, it is much appreciated, I really want to see one of these flights.
Could you please clarify the test flight date though as Thursday is the 23rd November not the 24th.
Steve
I was down at Shoreham yesterday and delighted to see G-ATXN. I actually took quite a number of photos as it taxied towards me and parked up right in front of me. Being new to this forum thing, I’m not sure how to post pictures yet.
I knew what it was and that I had a picture at home of another one in Royal Navy markings.
Got home, did a bit of research and found said picture in an old BARC military serials book.
What a coincidence.
Hi Guys, I’m a new member to this forum.
Twotter, are you able to offer any updates on the arrivals of the aircraft at Oxford. I’m a bit of a DHC fan and would really like to get over there to see them.
Does anyone else know if photography is possible at Oxford.
Many thanks Steve
