Had a horrilbe thought!
If bmi operate the route, does this mean that the final MAN A330, will have to move down to LHR by March. Or will they look towards another A330. I blooin hope that the A330 wont leave MAN for good, or my USA trip will be ruined!
OK…and sorry the “bi” won’t change :p
That’s what you think, matey……. 😀
GA
I laughed my ass of when i saw that ATR!!!

Cathay Pacific will be the only airline to offer a direct passenger service to Manchester from Hong Kong.
Erm…the service is not direct Cathay 😉
easyJet and Ryanair really seem to be complementing each other well there.
Indeed, they operate on two totally different markets, which is healthy for the airport and the region!
I’m flying bmi to ORD in July, and i am looking forward to it actually. Only have good memories of WWBB, but of course, this is bmi so things could change asap. But i only have good things to say about their long-haul product
It seems that BGY tho will go to x4 weekly, operated by BGY based equipment. This means that the LPL based aircraft that was to be used to Milan, will operate these two new routes instead.
Again fantastic news for LPL!!
RYR are really expanding at a rapid scale there, and thats a good thing for the North West
And its on Amadeus :D:D

If you fly regurarly for a VA like me, then there is not much point having it, as i’ve heard plenty @ BAV saying that their flights are disrupted once a week, due to the failiures etc
Buy Active Sky 5, much better 😀
Hi mate, ok the real name is British Airways CitiExpress (BACX)
The Routes they predominantly serve, are domestic and European routes, from bases at MAN, BHX, BRS and EDI. As you may know, they have cut back big time from the likes of MAN in the last few months.
Go to the BA Route map = http://www.britishairways.com/travel/routeintro/public/en_gb?prim=plantrip and BACX are the Orange lines.
Their fleet consist of 28 ERJ’s, 16 ARJ100’s (6 will transfer over to SWISS by Feb 2006) 8 Dash 8-300’s, and 4 BAe146’s, with the reg’s availabe here = http://www.jethros.i12.com/FLEETS/Listings/BA_CITIEXPRESS.htm
Regarding the financial side, sorry can’t help you there 🙂
