It all depends on how you act in front of the older generation. Its easy for me to say, as i live in a rural area, and i’m happy to say i’m well respected by them, due to the fact that i’m allways saying hello or something to them.

My friends who live in towns (but not chavs) think its shocking i say hello to someone over the age of 30!

it was called Diamond Service, it included full meals – and it was excellent and it was what differentiated British Midland from the rest and that SERVICE was what helped make them what they became.

Totally agree with you Andy. If it wasnt for the Diamond Service that i tased when i flew 4 times with BMA from EMA in the 90’s, i wouldnt be an avid follower of BMA/bmi, and i dont think i’d even want to fly with them.
They left an excellent impression on me, and i was only like 9 or 10 years old!
Flights like that stick in your mind.

Same with the ORD/IAD flights i encountered in 2003, excellent service, great reputation, which sadly is being thrown away, in a bid to make a profit out of an airport, where they are now going to make a loss.

I’m sure Mr Branson will be looking at his account, in a bid to merge the airlines, which i’m sure will happen sooner rather than later!

Sorry but wasnt it the Tories who made the millenium dome a reality?
Like everything else, Lab have had to pick up the pecies from two decades of tory mismanagment eg Privatisation of the railways, cleaning the hospitals etc.
Lab havent really improved Britain, but they havent made it hell like it was under the Tories.
Anyway, MP’s are all hipocrites (spelling) 😎

As an 18 year old, i’ve seen the decline of society within my area, even in my own age group. I’ve seen massive change in my secondary school, since i began there in 1998. The kids have changed from being quiet, well behaved (most of them:D), and had respect for their elders. 7 years on, the kids, especially ages 14-15 are like morons. No respect, do all but work, even hit teachers, and this is just a rural secondary school!
I’d hate to think how it would be in an inner city school.
If i was the Gov, i’d bring back National Service, to teach those morons some disipline and respect.
Sorry if i sound like a 70 year old, i am really 18, and i am worried with the state of this country!
