Superb video, and superb skill there!
If you want to read :- http://www.aaiu.ie/upload/general/8545-0.pdf
Took me 35 mins, of which i should have been doing an essay for Uni
Sure is true, i’ve read the report on it last weekend! 🙂
727 wasnt it. for a museum.???
It was indeed. I’ve been inside her twice, where you can only look into the cockpit, but you can sit in the seats of the old cabin, where there’s IFE :p

That’s how she looks, great exibit!
A United 727-100 was the biggest aircraft to land there, and its now hanging off the celing in the superb Museum of Science and Industry in South Chicago.
There was no scheduled services, as it was a GA airfield

Hope that helps, sadly i’ve visited it as an operational field, and i went to it this summer, to see its sad demise 🙁
Weather forecast very bad on and off all this week. Winds were incredible in Bangor yesturday, I stuggled to walk anywhere!
Ahh nice! I had to go July due to work commitments and as it was a 2 week holiday of the States 🙂
Oh superb shots! Brings back some memories of my trip via PHX in July. Any pic of a Ted A320, I have a undenniable love towards them after flying with them :p
N410UA could be going Ted’s way with that wingtip tho! When did you go? As in July it was unberable there with the heat in the 110F’s!
How boring and dull is that! Pink/Purple much better!!
I believe that 6KG is saved by reomoving they upper windows 🙂
The plot thickens im hearing a 777 is grounded aswell.
And BA only fly 767’s to DME, so a 777 would not be involved 🙂
Just been looking up a few bits on YouTube – can’t belive ive only just heard of this site!
Hehe whre have you been!?
Back to the point, there is certainly some excellent aircraft vids on there, quie a few of my takeoffs and landing views are on it too, and people seem to like them 😮
Indeed, there is quite a sizable gap in the centre. bmi fly to GLA don’t they around lunchtime?
Where’s this press release? Nothing about CWL on the flybe site that i can see.
FlyBe at CWL would be great, an airline with ambition that could bring some decent new routes to CWL at last!
Oh the crafty beggars have removed Cardiff from the release, but trust me, it was there at 11am this morning!
Shame to see Liverpool not getting any new destination AGAIN
