Fantastic!! I remeber my 1st flight into La Guardia in 1997, over NYC it was amazing!! I just love the US. And going back next year!!!

This looks like something has gone wrong at BA?!? OK fuel costs are to blame, but i don’t see much more prices increase with other airlines, and is it because BA buy British fuel, which about 60% of the cost is tax?!!
I dunno, i’ll shut up

No idea, i thought there would be more that 2x weekly my self Singapre and Malaysian are doing great on both their routes, and both are non-stop( exept 2 SQ flights, which use the 744 and go via Zurich). All i say is hope CX see sence, addmre freqs and go Non-stop! Tho it will be great for MAN to have a link to Moscow!

And i do have confirmation from the TAS MAN yahoo group that Cathay are to start twice weekly services to MAN next year, 1 via Moscow, and 1 via Munich using either the A343 or B777. Pity no direct link. Oh well better than nothing. Good to see CX def coming back!

Sorry greekdude1 i read bout the “supposed to be 3 of every airline” a long time ago on the Star site. No sing of it now, maybe the policy has changed?

greekdude1 I was biased towards bmi there 😀 But i found it on the Star site months ago that aevery airline musy have at least 3 painted. But UAL ae an exeption, to think they were one of the founders, i think they should show that they are a member of Star more

I know that every airline in Star needs to paint at least 3 aircraft in the Star Alliance livery, and got to say, the bmi one looks the best, despite the new livery being boring.
bmi have G-WWBD,G-MIDL and G-MIDW in Star colours, the latter still in the old scheme

Sorry FlyMonarch, but BA pulled out of LPL-IOM on March 28th of this year, due to the retierment of the ATP. Sent a good luck e-mail to FlyJem, and got a nice reply back 🙂

Yep good to see still SOME life with the ATP, and LPL will have a treat with the Jem ATP. I love those colours!
