…he chooses to hide behind the protection of a Government whose human rights record is, at best, questionable.

Good point, Kev. I wonder, if he were allowed to take up residence in Ecuador, could we look forward to him self-righteously and vociferously exposing any skeletons in their cupboard, or would he be more concerned with looking after Number One again and just keep quiet? Mmm, have to think about that one…:D

Always amuses me that so many of the people who boast about their “Green” credentials are the same ones who buy bottled water instead of perfectly potable tap water; bottled water that has to be transported from source to a bottling plant (with all the energy the plant itself must consume), transported from bottling plant to retailers, then the bottle itself disposed of. Much greener to simply take glass to tap, methinks

Surely sets a bad precedent when one unelected, unaccountable individual can set himself up as arbiter of what a democratic nation should/shouldn’t tell it’s people, and then also consider himself above even common law in any country he happens to be in.

What just like they want to get Gary McKinnon?? Guess you will also be in favour of sending him off to the US to face their perverted form of “”justice”” ??

Monty Python autobiography. Fascinating reading about how the TV series originated, early problems in the US when the programmes were edited out of all recognition, problems filming The Holy Grail, etc.

At work today, seeing that they have seen fit to stick “Instruction” sheets on the back of the toilet cubicles to show how to use the facilities with your backside in the right place, and not carping on the floor in front of the loo or climbing onto the loo……………..

Is this what the world (or the UK ?) is coming to……

In ours we have diagrams showing how to wash your hands. Fer gawd’s sake, I’m 55 years old, so I think I’ve probably learned that by now.

Ecuador says it fears for his human rights if he was extradited to Sweden, but what about the rights of the 2 women he allegedly sexually assaulted ? I think we should also remember that he broke the terms of his bail by seeking asylum in the embassy, which shows what a disregard he has for our laws.

YES, ALL those stupid soaps which are supposed to reflect life as a whole, I am never ceased to be amazed when anyone in them goes into a shop, and majicaly produces the exact amount of money for what they are buying, never yet seen any change given back to them.

Or drink a whole cup of coffe/tea by just briefly dabbing the rim of the cup against their lips. Or agree to buy a business without even asking the price, let alone take a look at the books.
