Probably never hear from him again. Too many people ask for help or advice on Tinterweb, and then don’t have the common courtesy to reply, especially if they don’t get the answers they wanted. Bad form, IMHO.
Tried to do your survey, but it seemed to lose interest in me after the first question when I answered I’d last flown over 3 months ago. Don’t see the point in that. :confused:
I read once that the US sometimes lost aircraft simply due to farmers and peasants blasting away with small arms. Most missed by a country mile, but if enough did it occasionally one would get lucky and hit a fuel or hydraulic line or something. Anyone have any statistics on that kind of thing?
