After so many years sitting in their ivory towers telling the other parties what they should do, it’s nice to see the Liberals having to face up to the realities of actually governing, making difficult choices etc.

Going OT a bit, does anyone remember the bloke trying to pass a chair leg off as a Camel joystick? Love to know what (if anything) happened.

PeeDee – sorry, but I chose my wife because we enjoyed each other’s company, loved each other, and had common interests. We did NOT choose each other in order to secure a strain of Sky Highs – what utter rubbish!
Exactly. When you first become attracted to your partner, is it because you’re thinking about what any possible offspring would be like? Hardly.

To paraphrase the late, great Brian Hanrahan I got myself into this mess, I’ll get myself out.kev35
With the greatest of respect Kev, I’m not sure that’s the right approach. I went through a bad patch a few years ago, and looking back now I realise my biggest mistake was in trying to “tough it out,” pull myself together etc. If you feel you can not cope with what life is throwing at you, please try to talk to someone about how you feel. Even if they can’t actually offer much advice or help, just talking can have a tremendous cathartic effect. And above all, don’t be embarrassed to open up; when I finally did, I was amazed at the number of people (and the type of people) who’d been through something very similar. Best wishes.

Thanks for all the replies folks, especially our Bee for explaining why they have to be doughnut shaped. Time to get experimenting, methinks…

So, sliced in two (ie making 2 rings) and eaten like a hot open sandwich? As I said, that ring shape makes it a bit awkward. Or are there plain (non-ring) types?
