Just out of interest, what do you think it is if it isn’t an aircraft?
I think he meant to say it isn’t an aeroplane.
Thanks for the reply, Steve. That afternoon I was coming back from a coach holiday with my parents, and amazed to see the red, white, and blue YF-16 being put through its paces as up till then it had only been a very new and exciting 3-view in Air Enthusiast and I had no idea it had even left the US.
My three year old son is learning to repeat what we say and turn things to his advantage now; so if he doesn’t get his way he admonishes us with “Now listen to me” or “It’s not funny.” Hard to keep a straight face sometimes.

Don’t believe him, folks. Sending me the Sunday tickets and won’t even let me reimburse his postage costs. Thanks very much Sir! :D:):D:):D:):D:)
Ahh, good old Ryanair, good old BBC “Stuck on Runway” story.
Long replaced by shops sadly, with just the upper windows/facade remaining.
You are Henry (“Eeeh, it’s months since I had Rat”) Pratt, and I claim my £5.

You would have that, by now, anyone seeing “lights” in the sky would guess that they were chinese lanterns and not ALIENS!
No, I never thought (or suggested) that they were aliens, and soon realised what they must be, but never having seen them before it did look pretty odd at first. TBH, my initial thought was a a gaggle of helicopters, till the count passed 10 and I realised there was probably no way the whole of the UK could muster that many choppers now. 🙂
