Is it for a G.50 or MC.200 then?
Well the first look like a Fiat A/74 Radial engine? And the second looks like a mini submarine (from photograph No.4). So Italian?
No, the ex- North Weald and Southend one is G-AWHB. I believe that it is in Norfolk awaiting shipping to the USA for restoration.
I wonder if the IWM Duxford CASA 2.111 could be made available for the Rotterdam Museum?
Good pictures David. It’s a shame to see the Varsity go after such a long time at DX. I’m sure that Griffon sounded lovely!
Yes, I hope the aircraft is not too badly damaged and after that two year overhaul!
I have AVG, It’s working fine on my PC
I do like shot No.3! I wonder what will emerge from the ARCo/HFL workshops this year?
My thanks to DCW,Pen Pusher,Duxman and all of the contributers to this thread for the fantastic photographs and information. Bring on 2013!
Overall it was a great day. It was great to talk to the engineers and voulenteers about the collection and specific aircraft. Here are a couple of my pictures from the day.

The P-51 sure does look in immaculate condition. Any chance in it flying again?
Another beautiful restoration!
It doesn’t sound true as the Shackleton there is allowed to remain there. Also coventry airport is due to be expanded so I don’t think it’s true.
