Unfortunatly I can’t go as I’m on holiday in spain from the 1st till the 10th. I would have loved to gone though.
good to see the skyraider finally going home.
Can’t wait to see 2 Lysanders and 2 gladators in the sky at once!
Judging by the other TFC aircraft that have flown since the paperwork issues I would say a couple of months.
If your saying the FireFly wing. It was taken from Hangar 3 last year into the ARCo hangar. My guess it has been paint stripped and restored.
I’m glad to see the Wildcat and Hellcat getting some attention. IMO they are the best aircraft in the TFC fleet!
Thaks for clearing that up.
I think It would get alot of airshow bookings here in the uk!
sea fury;)
FL= Flying Legends
he TFC Spitfire Mk.XXII wings will be inspected to see how much work will be needed to complete them to an airworthy standard. (TFC fighter Log)
Just a note from today. TFC’s wildcat had it’s engine cowls off today so I guess they will start work soon to get it back to flight!
That wasn’t the real “miss Velma” it was a privately owned miniature p-51 mustang.
A clue is my profile picture!
My guess is that the Sea Fury and Spitfire were the Spitfire Warbirds PS890 and WH589 heading back to France
