nice to see those Buccsociety i have to admit i cant remember having seen those, although in my defence i have been shown a lot of bucc pics over the years. in fact most of my years !

Any luck remembering who it was who worked on XV350 ? i really would like to try and get something organised between us all. That leg is only going to get worse.

finally, i want to make sure anyone who is involved with the upkeep of 350 reading this thread is assured, no criticism is intended just help offered.

the first one i had was harrier jump jet on a commodore 16 ! i thoughtr it was so brilliant, this tiny square blocky thing zig zagging across the screen.! i still played it for hours though.

i then found a copy of flt sim on a computer at work and never looked back and have upgraded every time .

i enjoyed pc version of fa18 superhornet and still fire it up every now and then SU27 was a good one as well. i use strike fighters and lock on along with many addons for fs 9
what was that one on the playstation that you earned more money to buy planes ?
    that was ok

the only one i ever regreted buying was that bloody eurofighter thing, you spend so much time watching videos !!

as far as i know 544 arrived at Shawbury in 92 to be used as a armourer trainer. She was then towed across the airfield and into the yard where shes been since 1996.

the add on for brize from simviation is brilliant, congratulations to the authors takes a bit of setting up but seeing the tristars and vc10s etc flying about reminds me of my time living there.
must warn you though it took me some time to sort it out properly even with the excellent instructions
incidently it fixed my initial runway problem as well, result

    andrewman,
its only open properly at weekends and costs £1 to get in, although it is poss to see most of the collection through the fence

    bucc
544 will be on the tralier backwards nose high with the wings underneath, this is done so the tail can stay on, so nacelle damage or any other come to that will not be an issue hopefully.

thanks for the pic,350 doesn’t she look sad, when saw her the other day she had a carrier bag taped over the cockpit as well. so someone is obviously giving her some kind of attention.

we must see if we can do anything to help,as after checking with Mr webber senior he tells me that the engines were runners althougth not for a while as the airport authority wont allow runs anymore. And that the hydrualics are stuck in emergency the 900 team from brunty had paid a visit in the not to distant past to help with hydraulics but to no avail. seems a shame to let her get anyworse. charging the leg doesn’t take that much time i remember doing it on 894 at Kemble.

    on a related matter XV350

XV350 is the aircraft in the aero park at East Midlands Airport the only picture have is about 7 months old and won’t scan cleanly enough to post

Saw her again this week and she is now being held up by a jack and a piece of wood and about 10 degrees further over. (i couldnt get a pic forgot camera and it was closed).

cant find any mention anywhere as to her actuall owner. Any one know ?
