that is what I’m saying, it was posted by giganick1 that BAe would have 40% of EADS besides the 40% of the combined company…

And then I added how retarded I was being!!!

BELOW COMMENTS INVALID (I RUSHED THROUGH THE READING LIKE AN ****) -Nick

BAE would own 40% of EADS and that would, IIRC make them the biggest share holder in EADS. They would still own their own company (all stock market activity would be kept separate) That means that they would technically own 64% of the NewCo due to the fact they would own a large stake in EADS. (40% + 40% of 60%)

As a British nationalist I don’t want to see British business put at risk BUT this could work out a lot better for BAE and the UK than you might think!!!

It’s actually good on the grounds that it could mean more work in the UK πŸ˜›

BAe would be the major owner of EADS and the Newco

I can see the better scenario developing………..

3/4 Squadrons will be predominately Air Superiority and QRA Sqns

2/3 will be mainly Ground Attack (Maybe one rolled as a Strategic Unit)

    1/2 will be multi-role

and of course the OCU and OEU

Just saying that MBDA do a kit to make any bomb a glide bomb so no need. Also i’d rather have Brimstone than a glide bomb, gives the enemy no time to run πŸ˜‰
