no problem! McDonalds is a flexible company, we’re willing to conform with local tastes.. if cow isn’t the “in” thing with the Americans, then we’ll switch to Bison burgers.

India for example, required us to switch to lamb burgers.

That is a pressurised helmet used for high altitude aircraft… using a standard helmet would kill the pilot if he had to eject from high up.

“but t he RUssians are now using more of this type.. looks similar to that of the ‘standard western helmet””

Ummm, that is a rather old helmet that entered service twenty years ago… the sights mounted on it are for the HMS cueing system for the Archer missiles introduced in the early 80s.

Even Helo pilots started using it in Afghanistan because it included communications system.

“the size of the helmet also seems to be wider than the western types,”

To give wide field of view to pilot.

New Helmets with built in night vision equipment and with HMdisplays are just getting ready for service with the RuAF, particularly with the new night upgraded Hips and Hinds.

Garry… do you have an aggressive moustache?

don’t worry, i’m not Indian so you can still spare some time debating with me 😀 besides, you brought this subject up so you might as well conclude it with some statistics other wise you’re claims are based on assumptions.

I couldn’t stand my company, so during the height of the cold war, I stole our DC-9 AWACS of our air force, and defected to the neutral Switzerland.. after the cold war ended, relations were warm again and I returned home with welcome arms.

pics of my famous defection to Switzerland.
