Well it’s bad for the neighbours! Makes me giggle like an idiot though. I’m looking at an exhaust bypass valve on ebay!

Its not completed yet, but it’s well on the way. Still got to put the exhaust back together, as it sounds like a 1950’s Le Mans reject at the minute!

After the gearbox on my old Jag going bang (on the way to the MOT…d’oh!) some three weeks ago; hearing it fire up first touch of the key after having everything out to sort it has brought a smile to my face.
I might not be playing Shackleton today… but I am playing with old British **** and smiling…

Truth be told I’ve never been up where our spares are stashed. I was rather hoping that was a stumble across some forgotten ones!
Crikey! Where are they?
Fascinating, especialy the B-36s, shame there arn’t better pics of those.

All on here… a few good pics of the several Peacemakers that crashed.
I had a wander around Derwent Dam tonight (as I usually do about this time of year), and noticed the fresh wreaths had been placed in the gatehouse to the west tower, next to the memorial.
While I understand Moggy and the fact that fact and fiction are rarely the same, if it helps the real crews continue to be remembered then it can’t be all bad.

There is also the possibility of others being in close proximity to Llanbedr such as Firefly drones, jindiviks etc.
I remember as a boy,Meteors etc on finals whilst on the beach, the flight path being directly overhead.
There maybe more?.
There’s definitely one Firefly, but it’s in a bit deeper water.
What aircraft are we aware of that has this issue as a stumbling block ? The Shackleton springs to mind as one.
Er… it doesn’t. The Shackleton Preservation Trust is the DA, and it is not the problem.
Keith, there was ten of us on the wing at one point!
