Becouse information on how to defeat stealth technology is just handed out to civilians.
Field deployed=its been deployed in the field, how is that difficult to understand?
This is a little bit different to disasters which the Russian beuracracy has yet to fully understand how to handle in the world of the open media.
There is a picture posted above of S-400 equipment, try reading posts before replying.
Your utter ignorance of Russian affairs is baffling as is your ridiclous belief that the russians are somehow all evil liars who are not capable of deploying a modern weapon system.

Bunga, I say to you again, the existance of the S-400 system is an excepted fact, the pictures and articles posted above prove that. The Soviet Union ceased to exist over a decade ago, the russians do not fake the existance of weapons systems.

Im beginning to think that the current Australian politicians have some sort of fetish for the US. I suppose there is still a faint hope they will go for the F100.

Awesome!!! I realy hope India goes for this plane it looks fantastic, especially if fitted with Bars 29. Note that this aircraft lacks the wingtip launch rails shown on the mockup displayed a few years ago.

What is the status of the Pharaon? I have read that it can be installed on the Yak130?
Is it ready to be installed or still little more than a mockup?
What about the Zhuk MSFE? what stage is this at?

I am English and I have to agree with Pilotght, our aviation industry today is a joke in comparison to france. From the 1960s onwards it has been in a progressive and sad decline.
It is also possible that the Rafale is a better aircraft than the typhoon, certainly there is very little to pick between them (other than the fact that the Rafale is better looking).

So how do the N001 series radars fit in?

    N001 on basic Su27
    N001VE on Su30MKK
    N001VEP on Su30MKK2

So are these radars completely different from each other, or can they be upgraded to the new standards? (ie, N001 to N001VEP?)???

Could their type 22 follow a similar upgrade path as the type 22s of the romanian navy?

I have also followed the S-400 programme, but unlike you I understand the complexities of the desighning, developing and constructing advanced weapons technology aswell as the difficulties encountered in Russia as a result of the post 1992-1998 period.
Far from being an apologist of Russian arms I am a realist (My nationality is not Russian) I recognise the strengths and weaknesses of Russian weapons technology.
SAM systems, along with aircraft and anti-tank missiles are the strong points whilst tanks and surface warships are currently relative weak points.
What you fail to understand about the S-400 is that it is an evolutionary system, not an instantaneous one, it is now meant to evolve out of the existing S-300 systems.
I also notice that you only mention Russian, chinese and Indian posters, and not American or European posters?

    Thanks Scorpion82.

I have read that the Tail cone on the Su32/34 is mig 21 sized and I recently read that the Su35BM would have a Koypo DL radar in the rear, but I cannot find any reference to such a radar? Now I am confused.

Does anybody know what the specification of the Su35 variant offered to Brazil was? I understand that the AL31FP is now an Su35 standard but what was the ecm suite and data link? was a tail radar offered? What was the cockpit layout?
Does anybody have a picture of an Su35/37 cockpit?
