Trying to find a MS Excel workbook with a certain pattern of numbers on it, to match another sheet which was a paste/values only version and renamed.
I opened 134 workbooks this morning, all of which were variations and what-ifs on the same piece of work.
Must use a better ID system!

Nah, as “Orange Juice” sang, Rip it up and start again.

Touche!
Bitch.

I shoulda said. I have music from Chike or Beety, Ballet or Opera, Motown or Metal, Reggae or Rappin (1), Dance or Trance, Rock or Punk, Girly romantic crap or melodic elevator music, Theloneous type Jazz or Sinatra type Big band,”Pop” from the 50’s/60’s/70’s/80’s/90’s/00’s/10’s. I’ve even got some Glam Rock derge from the 1970’s. Oops.
So, a broad gamut of tastes dontcha think. So, IMO, Grunge is rubbish, and Hendrix was only good because he died young. Coldplay are a route to suicide for the youth and Queen stole Alice’s image. Not saying they weren’t musicians, but their output is not all it could have been.
And, my Bass on my HiFi (real stuff not Jap tinny rubbish) is set to central. Some people (Like doorhandle heads in Vauxhall Nova’s with a big false exhausts) turn it up and thus ruin a tune, completely.
However, a good Bass based (I bet I can’t write that anywhere else!!) tune is stunning.
(1) I’ve got some Eminem stuff. I find it mildly amusing that the best rapper is a white guy. Black rap is just angry racist noise with swearing.

That’s bad. It would have been at least natural had he been Welsh.
How is it someone as evidently unWelsh as you can constantly try to rip Welsh people to pieces?!

I’m surprised about the reference to the sale of one of the Illustrrious class as being ‘an old through deck cruiser’. I wouldn’t have said it was that old. Remember that other vessels were due to be sold off to Chile as well prior to the conflict.
I didn’t reference Illustrious class.
Hermes was built in WW2! She was about to be binned in 1982 but the “Conflict” came up (1). She was sold to India in 1986. It was converted from a small (23,000 tons) A/c carrier into a Through Deck Cruiser. The Invincible or Illustrious class are about 21 / 22,000 tons. These tiny “Carriers” have a parallel “Through” deck. The name was passed to Hermes for al intents and purposes to distinguish her from the cross decks and the big A/c carriers of 100,000 tons or more….which our backward thinking British Governments will never buy.
(1) It has to be called a conflict, because if it was a War, then the Government would have to pay War Widows pensions instead of the (Lower) death in service pensions.
I don’t know if that rule has changed recently in the Iraq/fghan lark. I’ve not heard any outcry about it so I presume it has been changed.

I’ve never heard that claimed before.
Even if you look at the pictures from the papers, her Guns were at anger. A ship does not sail with her Guns at anger. They only move them Port or Stbd when about to fire. A Battleship (And this was a real Battleship) will not fire with her guns in-line as the shock wave will rattle the Captains curtains. They fire abeam so the ship can roll a bit.
She was about to fire upon a sub, the RN wouldn’t comment on whether it was a Nukey or a Dervy. It could even have been a yankee sub, they gave us a lot of assistance on Satellite images and other clandestine information gathering methods. They also supplied missiles etc. in double-quick time.
This beautiful picture of Iowa using her guns is a prime example. She has moved Port a few feet! I believe it was firing on Beirut at the time. A shell the weight of a small car going 35 miles on a target. It’s just stunningly arousing.
