I think the BA Concordes should be given to any museums in Britain which are capable of keeping them undercover , after that they should think about other museums , I think the Smithsonian would be a fitting place to put one on display.

I agree , if you give the photographer the credit it should be ok , if not we’ll get the webmaster to pull it .

Keltic , your patriotism for your country is certainly not tacky – it is exactly the opposite , your patriotism for your country and your fellow countrymen is to be commended , it’s a sad fact that we can argue all we want on this forum but the one thing that unites us all at some point is death.
My condolences to all the families involved.

I used to like watching the noisy British Airways BAC1-11’s flying the shuttle out of Edinburgh , are there still some operating out of Bournemouth ??

Watching a Ju52 flying over Donington just before Motorhead came on stage .

A Tornado flying from my right to left , at the same level as me approximately 1km in front of me – in a Microlight ( Mainair Gemini Flash 2 Alpha) nearly 5hit myself

Watching two Buccaneers roaring down Loch Earn while me and my mates were fishing , so low they left a wake on the water behind them , stunning .
