Simmer , If your any good at DIY and are just looking for something for pottering around in on nice days you could do worse than look at the Evansair website , I’m building a VP-1 at present , all the materials are relatively easy to find , you can buy all the materials as and when time and money allow and you can do it all in a double garage , VW 1824cc power means that engine parts are easy to find . The plans and builders handbook are available for an $55 International Money Order from Bud Evans and the Yahoo VP-1 Builders Group is very useful too.

American Special Forces have reported the successful takeover of Baghdad Airport . However , further inspection by Irish journalists of the lack of ground staff and no open shops or services revealed it to be the Ryanair Baghdad airport . American troops have , in fact landed 400 miles South of Baghdad and will have to take the feeder bus that leaves from O’Hammed’s Irish bar at 1800.

    In the Herald today :-

Tony Blair was dithering at Prime Ministers question time in the Commons when questioned by Iain Duncan Smith on who the coalition would accept the surrender of Iraq from.
The confusion ended when Labour backbencher David Winnick shouted out to the delight of almost everyone “George Galloway “

“For instance, when I finish riding my any of my Motorcyles and I get off after the ride, I always take my left hand glove off first, then my helmet in to which the glove goes then my ride hand glove. That way, whenever I want to go for a ride the first glove out is always the right hand side one. “

When I crash motorcycles I always land on my left hand side , I have an impressive collection of scars and X-rays to prove it , strangely I’ve only ever crashed 3 of my own bikes , the rest have been either my dad’s or friends bikes.

I have a bad habit of collecting junk , especially anything with an engine , I have a barn full of old tractors , cast iron lamp-posts , Moggy the Minor , a collection of old oil cans , a big collection of old spark plugs – I’m just a tight fisted Scotsman who won’t throw anything out as it may be handy in the future – but it invariably never is.
