No , I hate anything which is blue and mouldy . This is one topic in which the French excell , the sheer range and variety is superb , it seems like every small town has it’s own cheese , we booked into a hotel in Joigny (60km south of Paris ) and the food was good , but the after dinner cheeseboard was utterly brilliant.
The most disgusting stuff is the bright orange “Squeezy Cheese ” although some of the Primula squeezey stuff is good.

This is quite a strange thread , whats next , “what’s your favourite Peruvian style knitting pattern”

It’s good to see everybody in agreement for once , I’m sure this must have been the work of stupid kids – whoever it was I hope they are caught , I know there are plenty of people (including myself ) who joke about the French – but they take very good care of the cemetaries , there are a good few in Britain which don’t could do with a bit more respectful attention.

I think the North Koreans are more dangerous than Iraq is/was , they have openly admitted to restarting their Nuclear program , they export arms to any buyer , Scud’s to Syria for example , their economy is shot and they are in need of hard currency ie , the dollar , it’s virtuallly a closed country where brainwashing and human rights breaches are part of life . Is Kim Jong Il so desperate for dollars he may be willing to sell Nuke’s to the highest bidder or is he just posturing until the US starts sending them Fuel Oil again , maybe access to information technology would tell the population that the rest of the world is not evil and that Kim Jong Il and his father are not demi-gods , the problem could be solved by the people themselves ( a revolt ) without any form of military action ??

That’s actually a very valid point , you can’t make Scotch Whiskey anywhere else but Scotland , the same rule should apply to Cheddar Cheese. 😉 😉 😉

Dunlop Cheddar , made on the Isle of Arran ( I think it is , the Dairy was threatened with closure last time I was there ) , or Applewood Cheddar – made in England somewhere ( anybody know where ) ,excellent.
